Singapore is Heating Up – How Should Our Cities Respond? As climate change accelerates, hashtag#Singapore is warming faster than many global cities. Rising hashtag#temperatures and urban heat are reshaping how we live, work, and build. It’s time to rethink climate resilience–not just as an environmental issue, but as a societal one.

Introducing-Adaptation Simplified, Conversations on Climate Resilience A new speaker series exploring how heat intersects with everyday life–from architecture and public health to labor and care systems- diverse voices to surface practical, cross-sector solutions.

Inaugural panel of the series: Heat Adaptation in Architecture and Urban Design Meet our 1st panelist, Dr. Matthias Roth, Professor of Geography at National University of Singapore, a global expert on urban climates. His research spans cities across North America, Europe, and Asia, focusing on how land use shapes local climates and how cities can adapt through climate-sensitive design.
