PGS Circle: Plantation & Rewilding
*Date: 15 Nov 2025(Sat)
* Time: 4-6pm (optional dinner after)
* Venue: WE CARE Community Services (Serenity Room)
We’re Intan, Jo Lyn and Reisha, sharing reflections from PM Haze’s RE.PEAT Expedition 2025 and distributing our zines (free!)
Together, let’s explore the O palm (Elaeis guineensis) as a lens on migration and modernity/ coloniality, and a gateway to understanding the Plantationocene.
* Let’s learn about what peatlands are, why they matter, and how farming on them drives Southeast Asia’s haze.
We’ll also find out more about how groups like Living Soil and A Little Wild bridge science and traditional knowledge, decolonize human-nature relations, and inspire community reimagining.
! RSVP-via the link in our bio!:)
