Singapore’s response is already underway and largely predictable: sea walls and polders, cooling solutions, import diversification. Much of it is necessary.
But it carries assumptions worth naming — that we adapt by building, and that the growth paying for it can keep expanding.
Post-growth ideas offer a different starting point: what if adaptation were designed to serve human and ecological wellbeing first?
Every choice sets off consequences — some intended, many not.
Join us for an interactive workshop with @postgrowthsg , using the Futures Wheel to trace what adapting differently would set in motion. From a single seed decision — on rising heat, haze, flooding, water stress or food security — we’ll map the ripples across our economy, our neighbourhoods and our coastlines.
