In conjunction with the Museum’s 10th Anniversary, head behind the scenes with our Aspirin Naturalist Programme- three interactive, hands-on workshops on species identification, wet preservation, and dry preservation.
Explore how scientists define species using morphology and DNA in our ‘Introduction to Species Identification’ workshop. Get practical with specimen preservation–learn wet and dry preservation techniques, collection maintenance, and discover bird skinning in our ‘Introduction to Preservation’ workshops. Participants will handle real specimens and gain exclusive insights into our natural history Collections.
Cost of programme: $65-$150* per pax
*Includes GST and admission fees. Excludes SISTIC booking fees.
