If you’re an adult who’s experienced eco-anxiety and the complex blend of fear, anger, grief, despair and guilt that comes with it…imagine what our kids have to go through.

What is climate anxiety and how can we apply the concept of mental resilience to manage climate anxiety? What is climate resilience? And what roles can parents play to build climate resilience in our children?

We’ve invited psychologists from the James Cook University Singapore to share valuable insights, strategies and coping mechanisms that you can take home to share with your family. Join us on Friday, 29 Sep 2023, 7-8pm for this live webinar, featuring:

Dr Denise Dillon, Associate Professor of Psychology at James Cook University, Singapore. Her primary research focus is biophilia (love for life and lifelike processes) and she has commented on climate-related anxiety and behaviours for the Straits Times and CNA. Denise is a certified Forest Therapy Guide and is one of three pioneers of forest therapy guiding in Singapore.

Dr. Natasha Riard, Psychology Clinic Manager at James Cook University, Singapore. She is a clinical psychologist and specialises in child development and mental health, and parenting. Natasha’s clinical area of interests include anxiety, and universal prevention for mental health issues.
