The recent oil spill near Johor’s Langsat Terminal and off the northeastern coast of Pulau Ubin is a stark reminder of how vulnerable Singapore’s marine ecosystems are to contamination. With the Chek Jawa Wetlands-a critical biodiversity hotspot–directly impacted, it is more important than ever to reinforce our efforts in protecting these precious coastal areas
