? What is the Global Plastics Treaty? ? How is Singapore involved in these international negotiations? ? Could this treaty really solve the world’s waste management issues & the plastic crisis?

Join us in learning about the Global Plastics Treaty and participate in our group discussions on what it’ll take to solve the world’s waste management issues!

We will start off with a litter-picking session around City Square Mall to see what kinds of plastics we may find in an urban area close to home. Then, Stridy and SYCA will conduct a debrief as we return indoors.

After the debrief, we will break out into smaller groups for our guided conversations focussing on policy solutions and global collaborations. This will include topics such as SG’s role in global waste management, national & international policies, and the plastic crisis as a whole! We hope for you to join us on this afternoon for a bit of walking, cleaning, and learning!
