With COP30 coming up in November this year, this briefing will cover:
– An overview of the Paris Agreement and UNFCCC
– Share how observers participate in negotiations
– Break down key outcomes from COP29
– Answer any questions on issues to follow at COP30 and/or on-the-ground logistics in Belem, Brazil
While this briefing is primarily aimed at helping those going to COP or following online hit the ground running , it also offers resources and tools to help you best engage at COP30.
For those not going to COP, we will also share and discuss how you(th) can do on the ground in Singapore, led by LepakinSG, SG Climate Rally and Energy CoLab.
This webinar will be presented by Ms. Melissa Low, Research Fellow, Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions, NUS. Melissa also serves as the Designated Contact Point for NUS accreditation with the UNFCCC, and is currently the co-focal point for the Research & Independent Non-Governmental Organisations (RINGOs) constituency of the UNFCCC.
