Happy International Compost Awareness Week! At Food Citizen, we are thankful that much of our paid engagements continue to be compost related even as we deepen and broaden our services
This week, co-creator Cuifen @cuifen.pui conducted a pro-bono workshop for seniors of an active ageing centre (AAC). It was nice to be able to give back to the broader community in a different way, and we are open to taking up handful of requests from AACs each year.
We met Dennis and his team from @nyloncoffee at the workshop. They were volunteering too and contributed used coffee ground and coffee chaff. This created an opportunity for us to introduce coffee chaff to the participants. If you are not sure what a coffee chaff is, swipe left to read morel
