Even though I always emphasis on reusing, I do acknowledge the importance of recycling and how it is the stepping stone for most of us.
Recycling might not be my first choice but it’s also needed at times and play an important role
After all, recycling was the first step I took when trying to lead a low waste lifestyle, back in 2011 )
Contamination rates of our recycling are at 40% on our sunny island and it is time to change that figure up
A few years ago, I delved into the topic of recycling in Singapore and even asked a few recycling companies to share more information with me on the principles of recycling right.
Sat on organising community events for so long and 1 am finally happy to share that we are running our first recycling education workshop on 13th July, 1130am to 1pm at Crane Wisma Atrium @crane.official
What is going to be covered? Essentially everything you need to know about recycling but also knowing that it is not the solution to our waste problem.
We want to share the information to help reduce our contamination rate so that we can see some positivity in terms of our recycling data, especially domestic rates!
The workshop is $8 (nominal fee) to help us cover the costs and if you wish to donate more to support our work, feel free to!
